Once you send us an email, our Office Manager or Wedding Coordinator will contact you directly to set up an initial meeting to review the contract and set up counseling/wedding planning with the clergy. We recommend you contact us at least 6 months prior to your ceremony to fit in 3 sessions of counseling and allow for adequate logistics.

  • Members

    Members of University receive special discounts for using their church as their forever venue. Regardless of your membership status, our facility is open to all.

  • Sanctuary

    It all begins here. In our beautiful sanctuary you begin your life of holy matrimony. Our sanctuary holds 350 occupants and includes a balcony, two projector screens, 3 flat screen tv’s, and more.

  • Collaborative Artists

    Music makes memories. Our music staff includes professionally trained musicians, singers, and actors from Broadway, Bradley U, U of I, Opera, Peoria Players and more. You may invite your own accompanist in consultation with the pastor.

  • Media Technitian

    Our venue includes a media technician to run a professional sound/media booth that includes: video recording capabilities, stage lighting, campus wifi, projection and more.

  • Wedding Coordinator

    Our wedding coordinator is an expert in handling any situation that may arise on your special day on our campus. Your coordinator serves as the logistical coordinator leading up to and during your special day.

  • Chapel

    Our chapel comfortably holds 20 occupants. The chapel is an intimate venue on campus for smaller ceremonies or renewal services.

FAQs

 

Can I have a guest officiant?

University only allows the clergy appointed to the community of University to officiate at any wedding on the campus. However, guest clergy may officiate as long as campus clergy are involved in the service. University does not recognize officiants with ‘online-credentials’ or who are not ordained in a Christian tradition.

Is there pre-marital counseling?

Yes, the clergy of University request all couples to undergo 3 sessions of premarital counseling prior to the wedding date. There is no cost to this.

Is there a dinner space?

Yes, University has a dining hall for receptions. An additional $100 fee will added. The wedding party is responsible for catering, decorations, etc. This option provides the space and use of facilities, including industrial kitchen.

Is there parking?

We have two large parking lots with a drive through portico.

Is there dressing space?

Yes, the campus has a variety of rooms for the wedding party and others to get dressed.

Cancellations/Fees/ Other

A $75.00 non-refundable deposit must be received by the Office Manager 1 month prior to the ceremony.

Due to clean up we are not able to allow the use of birdseed, balloons or rice at the wedding.
